Truck collision leaves man with serious injuries in Tenerife

SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, 18th February (EUROPA PRESS) –

A 38-year-old gentleman sustained severe injuries after a truck struck him on the Southern Highway (TF-1), passing through the municipality of Güímar, in Tenerife, as per the report from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.

The incident took place on Saturday, just before 11:30 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert regarding a pedestrian being hit by a truck on the highway.

Upon arrival, SUC personnel provided medical aid to the injured gentleman and subsequently transferred him to the Ntra. Sra. de Candelaria University Hospital due to severe multiple trauma.

Firefighters assisted in securing the scene while the Civil Guard managed the necessary procedures.
