The fall of a tree has led the Public Services of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife City Council to close the La Granja park this Saturday.
An extensive assessment of all the trees in the park will be conducted starting from Monday to determine their health condition and ensure the safety of park visitors.
Mayor José Manuel Bermúdez emphasized that this decision was necessary for public safety and reassured that the park will reopen once all trees have been inspected and deemed safe for users.
It is important to note that a few months ago, the City Council initiated an emergency study to evaluate the health and condition of all the trees in the city following multiple tree falls.
