The Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) of the Government of the Canary Islands airlifted two individuals in distress from the sea in the vicinity of Las Puntas, in the municipality of Frontera (El Hierro). Among them, a 45-year-old woman of Italian nationality was transported to Nuestra Señora de los Reyes Hospital in a grave condition, displaying symptoms of drowning.
