The conditioning works being carried out by the Tenerife Island Council on the island’s roads will affect one of the busiest junctions in the south. In Candelaria, the works on the link between the TF-1 and the TF-283 will begin.
Specifically, this is the fourth exit from the motorway within the municipality: the first provides access to Barranco Hondo, the second to Caletillas and Igueste, the third to Puntalarga, and this last one is the closest to the Basilica of Our Lady of Candelaria, the patron saint of Canary Islands.
Returning to the project, the works will cause punctual and intermittent occupation of the inner lane of the roundabout. The Island Council is asking drivers passing through that area to be cautious.
The works will begin on February 14 and will continue until March 8, during daytime from 8:00 to 15:00.
The Island Council’s Road Councillor, Dámaso Arteaga, is urging drivers to exercise caution and pay attention to the indications from the Road Conservation staff and the signs installed on the affected road due to the works.
