In the municipality of Arona, Tenerife, a collision between two vehicles has resulted in moderate injuries for two women and a child under 3 years old, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 1-1-2 of the Canary Islands. .
The incident took place at 10:17 p.m. on the TF-28 highway, on the ascent from Los Cristianos to the Valley. Firefighters from Tenerife were required to free the driver of one vehicle and a back seat occupant in the other car.
Additionally, the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) provided assistance to two women. One was suffering from moderate head trauma and was transported by ambulance to Hospital del Sur, while the other had chest trauma and moderate neck pain and was evacuated to Quirón Costa Adeje Hospital.
The SUC also attended to a 3-year-old child who had moderate head trauma. The child was transferred in a sanitized ambulance from the SUC to Hospital del Sur.
Road service personnel and Civil Guard agents were also involved in handling the incident and compiling the report.
