The schedule for this joyful Tuesday in Santa Cruz de Tenerife kicks off with performances by the Afilarmónica NiFú NiFá and Los Fregolinos, at 11:00 a.m. in the Plaza del Príncipe. The parade featuring all the groups of the chicharrero carnival will commence at 4:00 p.m..

Tomorrow, on Tuesday the 13th, the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival will host one of its most traditional and popular events, with the celebration of the Coso Apoteosis on the avenues of its coastline, Francisco La Roche and Maritima starting at 4:00 p.m.

This vibrant parade brings together all the festive groups (comparsas, rondallas, murgas, musical, and choreographic groups), along with the Queens of the festivals, costume groups, and decorated floats and cars. The show will be broadcast live on Televisión Canaria, starting at 4:00 p.m.

The City Council of the capital of Tenerife will provide a total of 8,000 free seats for the public along the route, in addition to the stands placed near the Island Council, which can accommodate 1,300 people.

The Coso Apoteosis is one of the events that attracts the most visitors to the city during these dates, with many coming from the tourist areas of the South and North of the island. Predictions indicate that more than 250 buses carrying excursionists will arrive in the city at noon on Tuesday the 13th.

Performances in the Plaza del Príncipe

The festive agenda for Carnival Tuesday will start at 11:00 a.m., with the traditional concerts in the Plaza del Príncipe. The recital by the Afilarmónica NiFú NiFá, the oldest of the murgas, will begin at the mentioned time, while the Lyric Musical Group Los Fregolinos will perform at 12:00.
