Tenerife, which has been under a yellow warning for strong winds since this Friday, has once again experienced harsh weather conditions at its North Airport. On Friday afternoon, apart from the wind, the fog or mist has been the main cause of disruptions.
According to the X Air Controllers account, the reduced visibility caused by fog has led to delays in operations, frustrated arrivals and departures, and “more than a dozen flights diverted to Tenerife South.”
