During this weekend, a total of nine boats have reached the Canary Islands carrying 585 individuals.

In the early hours of Sunday, a small boat with 82 migrants aboard reached La Restinga Pier on the island of El Hierro.
The Red Cross provided necessary medical assistance to the individuals, who were all found to be in apparent good health.
This makes it a total of nine irregular boats that have arrived in the Canary Islands over the weekend, including three canoes that were rescued on Friday night in Gran Canaria (56 people), Fuerteventura (55), and El Hierro (55).
Yesterday, another five boats arrived in Gran Canaria (67), La Gomera (11), Tenerife (146), Gran Canaria (62), and El Hierro (51), in addition to the one that arrived on Sunday in El Hierro with 82 people.
