VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Feb. 9 (EUROPA PRESS) –
On Friday, a cayuco carrying 51 migrants of sub-Saharan descent arrived at the port of La Restinga on the island of El Hierro, as reported by sources from Maritime Rescue to Europa Press.
The Civil Guard radar detected the boat eight miles south of the island, and the Salvamar Adhara was dispatched to escort it to the port under safe conditions.
The canoe carried 48 adult men, two women, and a minor, all apparently in good health.
