A female altercation with a security guard in the shopping centre is not the only recent incident in the Canary Islands. Recently, a woman wielding a machete insulted and made threats to workers involved in a municipal project in the higher area of La Victoria, located in the north of Tenerife. With the machete in her right hand, the agitated neighbor was heard saying, “I have no problem slicing his neck off” to one of the workers, expressing anger at the closure of a street leading to her house due to the emergency municipal work aimed at enhancing public services.
The incidents took place a few weeks ago in the upper part of Los Arroyos, in La Victoria. The focus was on a project to enhance the water supply network in the highlands of La Victoria, with the aim of reducing high levels of fluoride in tap water, which has led to frequent supply disruptions. The video has since gone viral through WhatsApp messages.
