The Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival is approaching, and as usual, it is expected to have rain. This is according to the updated forecast from the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet), which predicts rain during the early hours of the opening night of the festivities.

The rainfall, generally weak with a possibility of moderate showers in the early morning, is anticipated to be predominant in the Canary Islands this Saturday. Additionally, a significant drop in maximum temperatures is expected, along with strong intervals of northwesterly winds.

At sea, there will be west or northwest 4 or 5, possibly reaching 6 on the north and south coasts until midnight, subsiding to the north or northwest 3 or 4 at dawn. There will be a swell, potentially strong on the north coast and extremely strong on the south coast until dawn. Furthermore, there will be an increasing northwest swell to 2 or 3 meters.
