Today, the streets come alive with the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival following the grand Announcement Parade. After this, it will be time for dancing at the various stages and kiosks in the city. Whether live or not, the music will follow a schedule that balances the enjoyment of carnival-goers with the rest of the community.
In an interview with From Night to Day on Canarias Radio, José Manuel Bermúdez, Mayor of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, stated that the music schedules for this year will remain unchanged from last year: “These schedules are the result of an agreement reached.”
