Eleven aspirants for Queen of Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2024 will parade this Wednesday, February 7th, starting at 9:30 pm, on the stage of the Recinto Ferial de Tenerife. They will wear spectacular costumes in the quest to win the crown at the Queen’s Gala, a spectacle that can be watched live from LA PROVINCIA and through Canarian Television (TVC).
The Queen’s Gala, which is the highlight of the programme of the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Carnival 2024, has as its main novelty this year that it is the first time it is directed by the dancer and choreographer Jep Meléndez. The artist has wanted to stage a choral act, a grand Carnival on the stage of the Recinto Ferial, and for this, he has counted on the participation of a thousand people in the different parts of the show. Thus, around 700 people will participate in the opening alone.
The participative act results in a spectacle in which all the Carnival groups take part. All will perform, not only the winners of their respective contests. Other novelties of the Gala, to be presented by Eloísa González and Elvis Sanfiel, will be the use of augmented reality, and the appearance of the singers Mónica Naranjo and Tonny Tun Tun.
