The 2024 Carnival Queen of Santa Cruz de Tenerife will be elected tonight. A spectacular event in which 11 young contestants will compete for the title and its court of honor in an edition dedicated to television.
The event, orchestrated by Jep Meléndez, will kick off at 9:30 p.m. at the Fairgrounds, where the city’s mayor, José Manuel Bermúdez, will crown the successor of the current Queen, Adriana Peña.


The participants will take the stage in the following order, determined during the draw held on January 12: Náyade Martín Delgado, presenting the enchanting costume “You are my big dream,” designed by David Hernández, representing Alucansa; Corina Mrazek González, showcasing the design “El Mundo de Santi Castro,” representing the Añaza Carrefour Shopping Center; and Isabel Ávila Fernández, with the stunning “Colias” costume, designed by Creaciones Santana, representing Estanco Los Andenes, Librería Tauro, and Pastelería Zamacois. Following them will be Lucía Hernández Alonso, with the mesmerizing “The Birth of Venus,” by Alexis Santana, representing McDonald’s and El Día La Opinión de Tenerife; and Rosalva Morales Benítez, adorned in the exquisite “Zibá” costume, designed by Cristian Santana, representing Repsol Grupo González Canarias.
Subsequently, Diana Concepción Santana Mesa, presenting the evocative “When Kilauea Roars,” by RP Diseños, representing the San Isidro del Centenero Neighborhood Association, Onda Rural Tenerife, and Reformas Hokinosa, and Ankirian Idariana Marcano Cartagena, donning the vibrant “Euforia,” by Jorge González Santana, representing the Arona City Council.
Lastly, Elena García Curbelo, in the captivating “Amanece,” designed by the Los Realejos Nira Carnival Cultural Association, representing Malidente SLU; Tamara Martín Gil, in “Sacrificio,” by Eduardo Martín, representing Alcampo; Saida Prieto Hernández, in the elegant “Gracias,” by Jonathan Suárez, representing Transportes Dapial SLU; and Nancy González Bethencor, showcasing the majestic “Joan of Arc,” designed by Juan Carlos Armas, representing Dormitorum and El Gusto Por El Vino.
