Santa Cruz de Tenerife has already finalised the lineup of several artists who will entertain the crowd at the Street Carnival, commencing this Friday the 9th with the carnival procession. The festivities will kick off at 8:00 p.m. from the plaza of the dominican republic, featuring a multitude of themed floats and vehicles.
From the Chicharrero Consistory, two Puerto Rican artists have announced that they will get the carnival revellers grooving on the second Day Carnival, scheduled for February 17, Piñata Saturday.
The internationally acclaimed artist Luis Fonsi will grace Francisco La Roche Avenue (Anaga Avenue) with his chart-topping hits Slowly and Blame Me commencing at 7:30 p.m. Fonsi’s two-hour performance promises to electrify the city with his unparalleled talent.
This same stage will also witness Joseph Fonseca from 10:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. The Latin music sensation will enthrall the audience with his exuberance and charisma as he performs classics like Fantasy Nights and The Stick Horse.
Premier Day Carnival and Carnival Monday
Looking ahead to the Premier Day Carnival, set for Sunday, February 11, Anaga Avenue will feature numerous artists from 2:00 p.m. This year, the chicharrero stage will showcase special performances by the Tenerife natives St. Pedro and Dellacruz, fresh from the Benidorm Fest, in addition to Almácor, Marlena, and Lérica.
Denna, one of the contestants from this year’s edition of Operación Triunfo, will also grace the stage. Ptazeta, Juacko, Hilario, Ariann, Paula Koops, and Polo Nandez will accompany the triumphant artist on Sunday.
On Carnival Monday, the Avenida Francisco La Roche stage will feature an impressive lineup including artists such as Beéle, Maikel Delacalle, Juseph, and DJ Conjurer. Similarly, Romy Low, Cashlady, Jake Williams, Lyto mc, Jhon Cabas, Buena Vibra, Yoger, Marcelo Mellino, Nay Arias, and JRamos will keep the party in full swing.
