Multiple Vehicle Collision in Northern Tenerife Causes Injuries to Five Individuals


Five individuals sustained various degrees of injuries following a multiple vehicle collision in El Tanque, located on the island of Tenerife, as reported by the Canary Islands’ Emergency and Security Coordinating Center, 1-1-2.

The incident took place on Sunday afternoon on the TF-373 road, close to the El Tanque Ecomuseum. The Canarian Emergency Service (SUC) personnel who arrived at the scene found a 67-year-old man with moderate chest trauma, and he was subsequently transported by ambulance to Nuestra Señora de la Candelaria University Hospital.

Additionally, a 67-year-old woman with moderate upper limb trauma was attended to and transported to Hospiten Bellevue. Furthermore, a 65-year-old man with moderate chest trauma was taken to the Hospital del Norte.

Emergency medical services also attended to a 20-year-old man with mild upper limb trauma, who was then transferred to Hospiten Bellevue. A 49-year-old woman received treatment for minor upper limb trauma and was evacuated to the North Hospital.

Tenerife’s firefighters were present at the incident site, freeing the trapped injured individuals. Local Police and the Civil Guard managed the necessary procedures.
