The Tenerife Rural Foundation has introduced 10 self-guided routes scheduled to take place between February and December at various locations on the island.
These trails are meticulously crafted to provide an immersive experience of Tenerife’s landscapes and deeply rooted traditions, catering to diverse audiences, making it an ideal family adventure.
A total of 10 routes have been meticulously curated, comprising:
- Exploring the Isla Baja Shores (Los Silos-Isla Baja) – Saturday, 24th February
- Güímar (Chacaica, San Juan, Camino Inmemorial del Agua) – Saturday, 23rd March
- Granadilla (Cuarterías del Sur, Memory of a time of hard work) – Saturday, 27th April
- Tegueste-Tejina (Organic agriculture in the fertile valleys of the north) – Saturday, 25th May
- Tacoronte (Artisanal fishing in the open Atlantic) – Saturday, 29th June
- La Laguna-El Rosario (Llanos de la Dehesa dressed in cereal) – Saturday, 27th July
- Icod de los Vinos (Icod de los Vinos and its Portuguese heritage) – Saturday, 21st September
- La Laguna (Gañanías laguneras) – Saturday, 26th October
- La Matanza (November, chestnut times) – Saturday, 23rd November
- Adeje (Altos de Adeje, a timeless viewpoint) – Saturday, 14th December
