A traffic accident on the northern highway (TF-5) in La Matanza, Tenerife, resulted in injuries for a 22-year-old woman, according to reports from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident took place after 5:30 p.m. when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert about a vehicle colliding with the median of the TF-5, heading towards Santa Cruz, and the driver sustaining injuries.
Upon arriving at the scene, SUC personnel provided medical assistance and transported the injured individual to the Canary Islands University Hospital via ambulance due to moderate head trauma.
The Civil Guard managed traffic in the area and oversaw the necessary procedures. The Insular Highway Center undertook the cleaning of the road.
