SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Feb. 1 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Following a traffic incident on Mencey Güímar Street in the San Miguel municipality of Tenerife, a seven-year-old boy has sustained serious injuries. An additional child, under the age of five, and a 52-year-old man were also injured, according to the report from the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The incident took place shortly before nine in the morning, prompting the 1-1-2 operational room to receive an alert about the accident in the Las Chafiras area. Consequently, the Cecoes activated emergency response resources without delay.
Upon arrival, SUC personnel evaluated and provided assistance to the three individuals affected. The seven-year-old boy suffered severe lower limb trauma, while the other child sustained minor lower limb injuries without complications. Both were transported to the Nuestra Señora de Candelaria University Hospital.
The adult involved suffered several moderate upper body injuries without complications and was subsequently transferred to the Hospital del Sur by a basic life support ambulance from the SUC.
