A total of 300 individuals gathered on Thursday, January 18 for the inaugural Mémora remembrance mass on the island of Tenerife. The service aimed to commemorate those who passed away in the past year. This initiative, typically carried out in other regions by the funeral group, marked the first of its kind organized by a funeral company in the Canary Islands.
The solemn mass took place at the Holy Cathedral Church of San Cristóbal de La Laguna and was presided over by Bishop Don Bernardo Álvarez Afonso. Adding to the atmosphere, three musicians performed, enhancing the liturgy for the attendees who were present to honor their family members and friends.
One of Mémora’s main goals is to provide support to families during the most challenging moments of bereavement. As part of this mission, the funeral group organizes these remembrance masses, offering a chance for society to come together and cherish the memories of those who have passed away.
