Welcoming a new Young Monarch, Sofía Rodríguez Navarro, the winner of the gala held at the Fairgrounds donned the captivating costume ‘My beloved little mouse’, designed by Alexis Santana and representing Golden Mile Playa de las Américas.
Other awardees included: Ainhoa Rodríguez Adrián (fourth maidservant), dressed in the attire ‘My Golden Ticket’, created by Jorge González, and representing Broker Mediterráneo Insurance Brokers; Valentina Siverio Gil (third maidservant), adorned in the costume ‘Between games and doodles’, designed by Ruymán Pérez, representing Carmotor; Naisha Khipalani (second maidservant), wearing the costume ‘I bring luck’, by Jonathan Suárez, and representing Homebice; and Paula Alayón Mesa (first maidservant), who shone in the costume ‘While the stars shine’, designed by David Afonso.
The jury, composed of Pedro Raidel Remedios González, a plastic artist and creator, Antonio José Hernández Hernández, a journalist and presenter of Televisión Canaria, Agustín Jesús Quintero Gutiérrez, a character from the Mad Hatter Carnival, Lucía Jerez Rodríguez, a theater actress, Sandra de la Rosa Pérez, a graduate in Fine Arts specializing in Design and teacher, María Julia Castro González, president of the Santa Cruz Artisans Association, and Paula Hernández Hernández, an award-winning designer in Carnival trophies, was responsible for selecting the Young Monarch and her four Ladies of Honor.
