A vast crowd has gathered in La Florida (La Orotava) eagerly waiting to access the area where 54 cauldrons of stew, which will be distributed to the attendees during noon on Saturday, are located.
The preparation of this traditional Canarian dish is one of the most popular events in the Orotava neighborhood festivities.
Local residents of La Florida volunteered on Friday to assist in the preparations for the communal stew.
For this year, the venue has been relocated and shifted to an area in front of the football field from Florida.
