SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, January 27 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A 68-year-old individual hiking on the Chinyero circular route in El Tanque (Tenerife) needed to be rescued on Friday after experiencing a fall.
Reported by the Coordinating Center for Emergency and Security (Cecoes) 112, the hiker sustained moderate wrist trauma, prompting their rescue by the GES helicopter. They were then evacuated to the La Guancha helipad.
Subsequently, the hiker was transferred to Hospiten Bellevue University Hospital after receiving initial care from a basic life support ambulance operated by the SUC.
