TLP Tenerife 2024 is backed by the Tenerife Council and technology companies such as Globalan and Binary Systems; with the support of Innovation Factory and produced by Nakatomi Corp.
TLP Tenerife is divided into two areas. Firstly, the Summer-Con Zone, open to the general public, where individuals can enjoy various activities including crafts, educational workshops, K-Pop, Cosplay, video games, and more. Secondly, the Lan Zone, designed for participants to bring their computer equipment and enjoy high-speed internet.
TLP will have two areas: Summer-Con, open to the general public, and K-Pop, Cosplay, for video games and much more
The event’s XVI edition will welcome 1,500 individuals who will turn the Tenerife Fairgrounds into their new abode. Idaira Febles, TLP’s director, assures that “the LAN access entrance allows you to fully immerse yourself in the teleopera experience 100%.”
Those with this type of access will have entry throughout the six days of the event, allowing them to play video games, participate in thrilling competitions, group activities, and even stay overnight on the premises.
This year, the Lan Zone comes with an exciting new feature. In previous editions, participants who wanted to enjoy video games and other activities had to attend the Summer-Con Zone, accessible to the general public.
For TLP Tenerife 2024, this will change, as the organizers have introduced what they call Arena Lan Experience exclusively for “laneros” participants, providing a range of video games, a dedicated board game area, arcade machines, a ping pong table, and a pool table.
“Having a bit of offline fun is also essential at times, and we are very aware of this, even in past editions, it has been requested,” notes the director. “People outside the event may think that individuals attend TLP simply to spend hours on the computer, but in reality, many of us go to simply be with our friends, sometimes the activity itself doesn’t matter, video games become almost secondary,” adds Julia Palenzuela, deputy director of the event.
