Tickets for the TLP Tenerife 2024 are now available for purchase starting today at 6:00 p.m. The event is scheduled to be held from September 3 to 8 at the Santa Cruz de Tenerife Fairgrounds. Interested individuals have the option to acquire two different types of tickets: the Lan Party Premium and the Standard ticket for exclusive Lan Zone access. Tickets can be bought from the website: www.tlp-tenerife.com.
The Lan Party Standard ticket is priced at 70 euros and allows entry into the Lan Zone along with access to other exclusive activities. Meanwhile, the Lan Party Premium ticket is available at a cost of 140 euros and includes additional benefits such as an exclusive merchandising pack and a designated camping space at the Fairgrounds for overnight stay during the event.
TLP Tenerife 2024 has garnered support from the Tenerife Council, as well as technology firms like Globalan and Binary Systems, while being promoted by the Innovation Factory and produced by Nakatomi Corp.
The TLP Tenerife consists of two sections. On one hand, there’s the Summer-Con Zone, open to the general public where attendees can enjoy various activities including crafts, educational workshops, K-Pop, Cosplay, video games, and more. On the other hand, the Lan Zone facilitates entry with personal computer equipment and offers high-speed internet connections.
In its 16th edition, the event anticipates accommodating 1,500 individuals who will transform the Tenerife Fairgrounds into their temporary abode. “The Lan access ticket provides a 100% immersive experience in the teleopera,” explained Idaira Febles, the event director. Participants with this type of access can utilize their computers and consoles throughout the six-day event for gaming, engaging in thrilling competitions, collaborative activities, and even lodging on-site.
This year, the Lan Zone introduces a completely new feature. In previous editions, participants seeking to indulge in video games and other event activities had to visit the Summer-Con Zone, accessible to the general public. TLP Tenerife 2024 will change this by introducing what they refer to as the Arena Lan Experience, exclusively designated for “lanero” participants, offering a distinct selection of video games, a dedicated board game area, arcade machines, a ping pong table, and a pool table.
“Occasionally, some offline fun is equally important, and this is something we are keenly aware of and has been requested even in past editions,” stated the director. “There’s a common misconception among those unfamiliar with the event that people attend TLP solely to spend hours in front of a computer, but the reality is that many of us come just to be surrounded by our friends, sometimes not even focused on the activities, with video games becoming almost secondary,” added Julia Palenzuela, the event’s deputy director.
