12 Sub-Saharan Migrants Arrive at El Hierro on a Small Boat

VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Jan. 25 (EUROPA PRESS) –

On Thursday, a small boat carrying 12 migrants of sub-Saharan descent arrived at the port of La Restinga in the municipality of El Pinar, according to sources from Maritime Rescue.

The boat was spotted by the Salvamar Adhara about half a mile from the island, and it was escorted safely to the port where the migrants were attended to by members of the SUC and Red Cross. Their overall good health was confirmed.
