Today, the airline Binter unveiled the 2024 calendar for the Binter NightRun night racing series and the revamped design of the NT Binter Magazine at the International Tourism Fair (Fitur) held at Ifema Madrid this week.
The Binter stand in Hall 9 saw the launch of the Binter NightRun 2024, Spain’s largest night racing circuit, with the participation of representatives from the six cities where the events will take place this year – all of which are destinations served by the Canarian company.
This year, Donostia-San Sebastián joins Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, Palma de Mallorca, Santander, and Zaragoza. The event is centered on three key pillars: inclusion, sustainability, and solidarity, in addition to promoting healthy lifestyle habits through running.
Over 120,000 participants have taken part in the eleven editions of the racing series, with 13,000 runners in 2023. The series has raised more than 100,000 euros for local NGOs. It offers three modalities: 5 and 10 kilometers, as well as the non-competitive Green Mile, with proceeds benefiting local non-profit organizations in each location.
The BNR 2024 series commences in Santa Cruz de Tenerife on April 6, followed by San Sebastián on May 18, Palma on June 8, Zaragoza on September 28, Santander on October 5, and concludes in Las Palmas, Gran Canaria on November 2.
Registration for the Santa Cruz de Tenerife race is now open on the official website www.binternightrun.es. Participants can access information about the destinations offered and all the necessary details to enjoy Spain’s liveliest night racing circuit. Additionally, athletes interested in traveling to any of these destinations can benefit from flight and hotel packages offered by the CanariasViaja.com agency.
NT: A Fresh Look while Preserving the Essence
Moreover, the event featured the unveiling of the new image of NT Magazine, led by the actress and comedian Omayra Cazorla. NT Magazine is a high-reaching publication with an audience of five million passengers per year, provided free on all company flights.
The general coordinator of Binter, Santiago Guerra, and journalist Juan Manuel Pardellas of the Bara Bara agency, which has edited NT Binter Magazine for 9 years, presented the details of the publication’s new phase, commencing in February coinciding with its operation at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD). To conclude the event, singer-songwriter Pedro Guerra performed several songs from his musical repertoire.
NT Binter Magazine is an iconic publication in the airline industry and a benchmark in the Spanish publishing realm, featuring an engaging design and exclusive content from a network of a hundred leading contributors, including journalists, travelers, influencers, food critics, photographers, economists, doctors, and psychologists. The magazine also includes interviews with well-known personalities from various fields, adding to its appeal.
“It is a truly unique publication in the Spanish publishing landscape, featuring bilingual content in Spanish and English, meticulously prepared with utmost dedication and respect for the contributors’ work. There is special care in the design and content, making it highly valued by the company’s passengers,” said Santiago Guerra during the presentation. “While the current trend in such publications emphasizes the onboard sales catalog, Binter and Bara Bara continue to prioritize a format designed to enrich the flight experience and offer valuable content.”
Following the recommendations of the creative studio Greattt, the new NT Binter Magazine is larger, more adaptable, encourages illustrations, and supports both quick and leisurely reading. It remains committed to soft-touch, chlorine-free, ecological paper sourced from sustainable plantations using eco-certified inks. The magazine is printed in the Canary Islands (Gráficas Sabater), a deliberate choice to support and invest in the local industry. The masthead and cover summary are visible from each seat, notable features of the new magazine.
“With a potential audience of over five million passengers annually, including 500+ SMEs, major tourism, leisure and cultural companies, and institutions, NT Binter Magazine is a fantastic medium for advertising, solidifying its position as one of the best platforms to reach diverse audiences,” Juan Manuel Pardellas remarked.
The readership comprises a substantial morning segment of executives, managers, and decision-makers in companies and institutions, expanding to a varied audience in the afternoons and weekends. These demographics make NT Binter Magazine a priority channel for all types of campaigns and communication projects in companies and institutions.
