The Arona City Council presents four new vehicles intended for municipal services for the control of rodents and birds. The council remembers that “most of the problems with pests originate from bad citizen behavior” and can “neighborhood collaboration” to fight them.
The Department of Public Services, Environment and Sustainability of Aronera has this new fleet for the Control of Rodents and Arthropods, carried out by the successful bidder Ondoan Servicios, and for Bird Control, provided by the company Fumigadora Internacional. These new mobility resources are sustainable and have 0 emissions to meet environmental care objectives.
The councilor for the area, Clari Pérez, highlights that “we are prepared to provide services that, if not carried out, would generate serious Public Health problems.” She emphasizes that most of these problems (rats, cockroaches, fleas, pigeons, etc.) are caused by “lack of civility and failure to comply with the basic rules of coexistence.” This is the case of depositing garbage without bags or outside the containers, waste thrown everywhere, water spills on public roads, unfinished homes and a long etcetera.
