The El Rosario City Council allocates a total of 93,400 euros to aid linked to the promotion of sports included in the 2024 Strategic Subsidy Plan. The Rosario City Council helps with the maintenance and travel expenses of fifteen clubs and five municipal schools and increases subsidies to individual athletes, going from 6 to 16.
The mayor of El Rosario, Escolásico Gil, emphasizes that “our commitment to the promotion of sport and to our clubs and athletes is palpable” and recalls that the renovation of the La Esperanza sports center is also currently underway, a work co-financed by the Cabildo. of Tenerife and the City Council.

The subsidies to the clubs will be used for general expenses for the maintenance of the entity, those for the organization and carrying out of sports activities, and those derived from the transportation of sports teams. In the line of continuing to promote the practice of sport among the population of the municipality as a healthy alternative to occupying leisure and free time, financial aid will be granted to the following sports teams and schools: Club de Bolas La Vista, Club de Fútbol Zamorano Esperanza, El Rosario Municipal Football School, Valeriana Sports Club, Llano del Moro Revoleada Wrestling Club and Canarian Wrestling Municipal School, Those Who Were Missing Ball and Petanque Club, El Rosario Tenzul Badminton Club, El Rosario Municipal Taekwondo School, Biamón Cycling Club, Tenerife Jardín del Mar Paddle Club, Guagüeros Sports Club, Team Machado Racing, Tenerife Four Wheels Motor Sports Club, Amadeus Basketball Club and Municipal Basketball School, Batistana El Rosario Club and Rhythmic Gymnastics Training School, Club Elite Volleyball El Rosario and Terranova Runners.
