The National Police has arrested in Argentona (Barcelona) to a monitor who collaborated in several schools as an alleged child sexual predator after identifying nine of his more than 70 victims based on a complaint filed in Santa Cruz of Tenerife.
In the police operation, the teacher’s romantic partner and a former student have also been arrested, and numerous images of the attacks have been recorded.
According to what the National Police reported this Tuesday, the arrested person collaborated in five schools in the metropolitan area of Barcelona and carried out leisure activities and summer and spring camps for children and young people from 6 to 18 years old.
In addition, the National Police has also arrested the teacher’s romantic partner, who had witnessed sexual relations with minors, and a former student with whom he had shared pedophile material.
The detained professor, who has been placed in preventive detention, is accused of the crimes of groomingcorruption of minors, child pornography and sexual assault.
This sexual predator used his private home to invite minors to sleep after having previously gained the trust of their parents, and once there, he photographed and recorded the sexual relations they had with them, even taking advantage of the child’s sleep to have sexual relations. not consented.
The National Police has also been able to verify that the teacher also traveled to different parts of Spain and even abroad to commit similar acts.
The police investigation began in April 2023 after the complaint filed in Santa Cruz de Tenerife for an alleged crime of grooming -practice by which adults pose as minors on the internet- through an application aimed at gamersin which the victim was under 11 years old.
The investigators’ investigations made it possible to locate the home of the alleged aggressor in the town of Argentona, the place from where he made the connections.
From that moment on, the investigation focused on the detained professor in order to obtain objective data on the modus operandi of his criminal activity and the location of possible victims for their protection.
The teacher had been practicing his professional activity for more than 15 years, and after several inquiries, the agents found out that the person under investigation worked in an entity that carried out leisure activities aimed at children and young people from 3 to 17 years old.
All indications point to the fact that all of his professional and recreational activity revolved around minors.
In the final phase of the investigation, and with judicial authorization, the entry and home search of the investigated person was carried out, finding numerous digital evidence with conversations held with the minor under 11 years of age who began the investigation, as well as a large number of folders containing pornographic photographs and videos in which the detainee appears having sex with minors.
After computer analysis of the arrested person’s computer, images of other victims were located, who at the time of the events were between 10 and 12 years old, where this predator even took advantage of children’s sleep to make non-consensual sexual acts.
Subsequently, the researchers confirmed that the professor’s romantic partner also participated in sexual encounters with the minors, trying to strengthen ties with them in order to participate in said relationships.
It was also learned that at both their homes, parties were organized with minors in a way that created the ideal environment to gain their trust with a view to maintaining deceptive relationships, going so far as to consolidate relationships with these minors up to two years old.
In said computer analysis, the agents also found conversations with high pedophile content between the professor and a former student of his, in which he requested help to access material with this content.
Both the professor’s romantic partner and his former student have been arrested and brought to justice.
The investigation remains open, in order to locate other possible victims and other arrests close to the social environment of the arrested professor have not been ruled out.
