SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 20 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A man had to be assisted yesterday Friday after suffering poisoning due to smoke inhalation in the fire of a house located on Argentina Street, in the municipality of Granadilla de Abona, in Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center ( Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred shortly after 3:00 p.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert reporting a fire in a home located in a three-story building at the address mentioned above, so the Cecoes immediately activated the necessary emergency resources.
Tenerife firefighters extinguished the flames and ventilated the areas affected by the smoke. The SUC staff assisted a man who was then transported by basic life support ambulance to the Hospital del Sur with a moderate prognosis.
Agents from the Granadilla de Abona Local Police also intervened at the scene of the fire, who collaborated with the intervening services, and from the Civil Guard, who were in charge of carrying out the corresponding procedures.
