He Circle of Entrepreneurs and Professionals of the South of Tenerife (CEST) celebrates this Saturday 25 years since its foundation. The association, whose first president was Pedro Suárez, has a social mass of more than 500 companies of all sectors that operate in the region. «What began as a project that sought for the South to have a united voice in business, has been consolidated and today is an undisputed interlocutor that leads important debates on economic, business and demand for infrastructure that the South needs and demands. of Tenerife,” explains its president, Javier Cabrera.
The trajectory of the CEST is marked by permanent work to strengthen the professional and personal relationships of businessmen who operate in the region and continue to be an agent of change, which favors the economic and social development of the South and which meets the needs of the companies and citizens of the area.
Cabrera maintains that, “through training programs, business advice and support for local initiatives, we have contributed to the growth of emerging businesses, economic diversification and the creation of opportunities for the inhabitants of our region.” In addition, it explains the relevant position of the Circle in “the creation of networks that form the business fabric of the South, through events, networking programs and joint projects, with which commercial ties have been strengthened, creating an environment conducive to Business Growth”.
The board of directors considers that the anniversary is an opportunity to set future challenges. «We will continue to demand decent infrastructure for our territory, which does not stop growing demographically, so that services such as education or health are covered, that housing can be easily accessed or that we do not have to lose part of our life and our health waiting in a traffic jam.
