SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 20 (EUROPA PRESS) –
An 88-year-old man has died after being run over by a truck on Pedro Delgado Street, in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 1-1-2.
The event occurred around 10:20 a.m., when the 1-1-2 operational room received an alert reporting that an elderly person had been run over by a truck at the address mentioned above.
As a result of the impact, the victim was trapped, so he was freed by firefighters. At the time of assistance, the affected person went into cardiorespiratory arrest, so the health personnel performed basic and advanced resuscitation maneuvers, to no avail, confirming his death. The Local Police investigated the report.
