The sixteenth edition of the technology and video game fair TLP Tenerife will return in September to the Fairgrounds of the Tenerife capital, an edition that will bring 27 developer studios from Tenerife and national companies that hope to generate business initiatives.
The event will take place between September 3 and 8, a period that will offer its traditional LAN Party Zone, Summer-CON, K-Pop Championship, Cosplay Esports and a variety of training activities, details the Tenerife Cabildo in a press release. .
The LAN Party area will have 1,500 seats for people who ‘want to return home’, as stated in one of the most significant and historical mottos of TLP Tenerife, because whoever participates will live together 24 hours a day for the six days of the event and He will share his love for video games and esports.
The date for ticket sales will be announced soon and there will be capacity for 1,500 seats.
Meanwhile, the Summer-Con area will bring together the recreational and educational program related to the world of manga, comics, animation and Asian culture.
The Summer-Con Zone will have activities for all audiences, where you will find, among others, educational workshops focused on new technologies, presence of national board game publishers, crafts, access to the console and video game area, and competitions.
This edition will also recover the TLP K-Pop Championship, a competition in which a selection of groups and soloists from the archipelago are shown in this type of dance.
The main stage will also make way for Cosplay, which will welcome all people portraying characters from cinema, anime or video games, and there will be more than 60 artists who will be able to exhibit their works at Summer-Con.
As for ‘esports’, more than 30 competitions will be held in four different types of tournaments and several titles, from ‘League of Legends’ and ‘Tekken 8’ to ‘Just Dance’ and ‘Fortnite’.
Numerous prizes will be distributed to professional players, amateur players, communities seeking to gain a foothold in the competitive sector and general fans of video games.
