SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, January 18 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The vice president of the Government of the Canary Islands and Minister of Economy, Commerce and the Self-Employed, Manuel Domínguez, highlighted this Thursday that the Government pact on the islands signed by his party, CC, ASG and AHI is “healthy” and runs “no risk.” “.
In statements to journalists after taking stock of the legislature, he indicated that his “desire” is for the Popular Party to remain in the Government “until the end of this Legislature because it has a great project and a magnificent team,” although he specified that “something else is reality.”
He has insisted that the pact “is good for the Canary Islands” even though CC has closed an investiture agreement with the PSOE at the national level that the popular party has rejected.
However, he has defended with “sincerity” that the agreement on the islands works very well and “pivots” between the President of the Government, Fernando Clavijo, and the Vice President, Manuel Domínguez, with a “close personal relationship” in which they are told things “with absolute clarity” and looking each other in the eyes.
Along these lines, he has indicated that they have “shared” and “collaborated” in actions “regardless” of the area managed by the PP or CC.
“I am not here today to speak on behalf of a sector of the Government, I am coming to speak on behalf of the Government of the Canary Islands, and this is the Government of the Canary Islands. Therefore, the desire for what may happen throughout these years, I think they will coincide,” he added.
