SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, January 17 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Plenary Session of the Parliament of the Canary Islands addresses this Wednesday starting at 11:00 a.m. the debate on the validation or repeal of the decree law of the Government of the Canary Islands on measures in territorial and urban matters for the economic and social recovery of the island of La Palma after the eruption volcanic September 2021.
The document already passed the processing of the General Committee of Councils of Parliament last week, the Chamber reports in a note.
The Parliament Board agreed on December 19 to authorize the month of January 2024 for the processing of this decree law of the Government of the Canary Islands, since, as the president of the Chamber, Astrid Pérez, recalls, “the regulation establishes in its article 161.3 that the debate and vote on the validation or repeal of decree laws will be addressed in the Plenary Session of the Chamber within 30 calendar days after their publication in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands.
