Karina and her partner, with their three children, ages eight, six and two, are going to live in a car tomorrow as the eviction of the home where they have been residing for more than ten years is scheduled to take place, in Miraverde, in the municipality. of Adeje, and not having any other housing resources, as explained by the affected person to DIARIO DE AVISOS.
The judicial launch will be carried out after the couple has not been able to pay the mortgage since 2019, when they still have to pay about 35,000 euros for an officially protected home that is in the name of Karina’s partner, father of the three. children.
Karina contacted the social association Inclúyeme Tenerife yesterday to donate the belongings she has in the home, one of them a refrigerator that a user of this southern NGO collected yesterday, given the imminence of eviction.
Karina told this newspaper that “we have nowhere to go, we cannot get a rental with my partner’s only salary and the municipal Social Services do not have housing resources to offer us,” said the unemployed woman.
She regrets that she has to leave the home where she has spent ten years of her life, but Karina is concerned above all about the consequences of this eviction for her children, because as she comments, “the City Council has already warned me that if between now and tomorrow “I can’t find a home, my children will be put in a juvenile center,” he commented with concern.
