A 27-year-old hiker was injured this Sunday after suffering a fall in the Montaña Roja area, within the municipality of Granadilla (Tenerife), according to the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112.
In this way, members of the Tenerife Firefighters Consortium reached the affected person and provided him with first aid.

Meanwhile, rescuers from the GES helicopter got off the aircraft, immobilized the hiker and hoisted him onto the device to evacuate him to the Adeje Volunteer Firefighters helipad.
Once on the ground, SUC personnel treated the man for trauma to his lower limb and transported him in a basic life support ambulance to the Hospital del Sur.
