Santa Cruz de Tenerife has entered tonight into the official start of Carnival 2024, dedicated this year to Television. And he did it in a big way, with a dynamic and very musical inaugural gala, directed by Jep Meléndez, which took the almost one thousand people gathered on the outside terrace of the capital’s Fairgrounds to travel to the ins and outs of the television universe.

A visual walk, on a stage like a TV set, in which through famous programs and contests that have been recorded in the nostalgic memory of viewers, they invited them to remember such popular air spaces as 1, 2, 3 , The clowns on TV and even the characteristic donut from Pasabalabra.

A journey through mythical contests that served for the 32 aspiring Queens in their three modalities to tempt their luck and find out the order of participation they will have in their respective galas, scheduled for January 28 (children’s), January 31 ( adults) and February 7 (adult).
