SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, January 13. (EUROPA PRESS) –
Early this Saturday, Maritime Rescue rescued the 94 sub-Saharan occupants of a canoe when they were sailing about 8.6 miles south of Punta Rasca (Tenerife).
According to the state agency, Salvamar Alpheratz located and escorted the irregular vessel to the port of Los Cristianos, where 86 men, 3 women and 5 male minors disembarked.
In this regard, the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center (Cecoes) 112 has explained that all of them were in apparent good health although it was necessary to transfer one migrant to a hospital.
