SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, January 12. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The deputy of the Canary Coalition (CC), Cristina Valido, has presented a question to the Minister of Territorial Policy and Democratic Memory, Ángel Víctor Torres, to know the Government’s position on the effective consequences derived from the transfer of powers in matters of immigration to Catalonia.
In a statement released by the nationalist formation, he has expressed his desire for the agreement with Junts to be explained “black on white” and has warned that the CC vote will be “indispensable” in many votes throughout the legislature.
Valido wants to know the “impact” of the measure since the investiture agreements agreed to modify the childhood law so that unaccompanied migrant minors who arrive in Spain are compulsorily distributed among all the autonomous communities and are not competition “of the town where the cayuco arrives.”
Not in vain, Valido understands that these transfers “can complicate for the State the referral of people and the referral of these minors” and therefore refuses to “think” that the Government is not going to “comply with the agreement, modify the law and assume their competence regarding minors”.
The deputy has also pointed out this week that her party has supported decrees “that millions of people needed” and that included aspects of the ‘Canarian agenda’ and has warned that “if they do not comply with what they signed”, the CC vote could “drop “many issues.
