SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, January 12. (EUROPA PRESS) –
A head-on collision between two vehicles passing through Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife, has resulted in five injuries, two of them seriously, as reported by the Emergency and Security Coordinating Center of 112 of the Canary Islands.
The events occurred around 12:12 a.m. this Friday, on the TF-31 road, at kilometer point 2, as it passes through Puerto de la Cruz, and firefighters from Tenerife traveled to the scene, freeing one of those affected, since he had been trapped in one of the damaged vehicles.
For its part, the staff of the Canary Islands Emergency Service (SUC) treated a 49-year-old woman who, at the initial moment of care, had serious abdominal trauma, for which she was transferred by ambulance to the Canary Islands University Hospital. .
He also assisted a 44-year-old man who initially had serious abdominal trauma, for which he was transferred by ambulance to the Nuestra Señora de la University Hospital.

Likewise, the SUC staff assisted two young people, aged 21, who had abdominal trauma, one of them moderate and the other mild, both of whom were transferred to the San Juan de Dios Clinic, as was a man, aged 54, who had mild neck pain.
Road service personnel also appeared at the scene of the incident, cleaning the road, while Civil Guard agents carried out the corresponding procedures.
