SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
Remains of ‘pellets’ have been located this Wednesday on the coast of Bajamar, in the municipality of La Laguna, sources from the Ministry of Territorial Policy, Territorial Cohesion and Waters inform Europa Press.
Thus, they specify that their origin is now being investigated and whether they are related to the ship that lost its cargo north of Portugal and has affected the Cantabrian coast.
For this reason, the regional Executive has established a network of preventive surveillance and coordination with all public administrations and has activated at pre-alert level the Territorial Civil Protection Plan of the Autonomous Community of the Canary Islands (Plateca).
The Government will report this finding at a press conference called at 5:30 p.m. at the Cecoes headquarters.
