SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 11 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A fire started early this Thursday afternoon in a composting plant located in Parque de La Reina (Arona), next to the TF-5, sources from 112 Canarias report.
The fire has generated a large amount of smoke and several fire crews, personnel from the Canary Islands Emergency Service and police resources are intervening in the area, and a helicopter from the Emergency and Rescue Group (GES) is carrying out water discharges in the area.
Firefighters have mobilized the parks of San Miguel, Güímar and Santa Cruz de Tenerife plus volunteers from Adeje and Güímar.
