SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 10 (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Ministry of the Presidency, Public Administrations, Justice and Security of the Government of the Canary Islands has lowered and unified the rates to access the selection processes of civil servant and labor personnel of the General Administration of the Autonomous Community.
The purpose of this measure adopted by the General Directorate of Public Function is to encourage and facilitate citizen participation in these selection processes and, to this end, first of all, a single tariff regime of 15 euros is established for all professional groups and subgroups. , except for the Professional Group of Subalterns, which is 10 euros, which contributes to a fairer tax system since, regardless of the professional group that is the subject of the calls, participation in the selection process is the same.
Thus, regardless of the professional group to which the person opts, the rates are unified towards the lowest of those currently existing corresponding to Professional Subgroup C2 and the already existing rate of the Professional Group of Subalterns is respected ( 10 euros).
With this measure, a significant reduction is carried out in the amount to be paid by citizens, according to a note from the Ministry.
Thus, for example, in the case of Group A, Subgroup A1, relating to the Higher Bodies of the General Administration, it goes from 74.31 euros in 2023 to 15 euros, which represents a reduction of almost 80 percent. while in the case of Subgroup A2 the reduction is almost 65 percent.
As highlighted by the general director of Public Function, Francisco Rodríguez, the establishment of a uniform tariff regime will, in turn, mean “a simplification for citizens when completing their application for participation and settling and paying the corresponding fee.” , without errors occurring when selecting the specific rate that existed for each professional group”, so that we go from a regime of five rates to only two, one of them being only, as has been said, for the Professional Group of Subalterns and the other for the rest of the professional groups.
This simplification in the application submission process will also result in greater agility and efficiency in the management of the provisional lists of admitted and excluded people, drastically reducing the rectification requirements that must occur for the definitive approval of the aforementioned lists, and To the extent that this will mean a reduction in the deadlines for such approval, it will in turn result in a reduction in the execution deadlines for the selection processes.
The General Directorate of Public Function reminds that on January 15 the deadline for submitting applications to participate in the calls published in the Official Gazette of the Canary Islands (BOC) on December 13, 2023 opens.
