The celebration of Pilgrimage in Honor of San Antonio Abad next Sunday, both in Los Realejos and Aronakicks off the Tenerife pilgrimage calendar 2024. This calendar is, without a doubt, one of the most anticipated by Tenerife residents, becoming especially popular in summer.
Los Realejos launches the annual calendar of Canary Islands pilgrimages again in Tigaiga with its commemoration in honor of San Antonio Abad, which will be this Sunday, January 14, with the Eucharistic celebration at 1:00 p.m. in the hermitage of Nuestra Señora de La Concepción, sung by the Folklore Group Guayacsanta.
Arona Starting this Thursday, January 11, it hosts the festivities in honor of its patron saint, San Antonio Abad, one of the oldest known devotions in the municipality, which will have their climax on Sunday, January 14 with the celebration of the traditional pilgrimage and blessing of the animals, which opens the calendar of these popular festivals on the Island.
