SANTA CRUZ DE TENERIFE, Jan. 8 (EUROPA PRESS) –
This Sunday, the Local Police of Santa Cruz de Tenerife arrested two people who were engaged in the illegal sale of medicines in the middle of the street.
The agents arrested a man and a woman, both 55 years old, who, not being sellers authorized to operate in that area, had set up a small stand where they sold these medications on a street where the store is usually located.
This police intervention occurred thanks to a tip from a person who was walking in the area, details the Local Police in a note.
Those arrested were identified as FRJ and JFGG who acknowledged that they do not have any authorization to sell this type of products.
In a preliminary visual inspection, the agents realized that there were even expired medications for sale.
The detainees also acknowledged that they had more medications inside a car parked nearby.
In the police count, a total of up to 128 medication containers were counted with a large number of pills, tablets and creams.
For all these reasons, all these products were seized and the detainees who were brought to justice for these events were identified and transferred to police stations.
