The Union CSIF – Canary Islands reported this Monday a possible crime of harassment of employees of the School Childish from Anagain the capital of Tenerife, which is why it has formally requested a meeting with the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and the Department of Social Welfare, Equality, Youth, Children and Families of the Government of the Canary Islands.

As detailed by the union in a statement, more than 50% of the workforce from school is on leave due to anxiety and depression, caused by the alleged repeated and continuing behavior of the head of the center.

The union says that for months it has tried to peacefully resolve the “chaos that exists at the school through less aggressive mechanisms than judicial ones, but, given the inaction of the competent authorities, mediation is now being sought with the Provincial Prosecutor’s Office to deal with this possible crime. continued from bullying against the workers.”

It argues that the lack of assessment of psychosocial risks, the inactivity of the Labor Inspection and the lack of measures by the Ministry make “the hostile and humiliating acts” that occur at school fit perfectly with the criminal crime of workplace harassment. .

CSIF – Canarias trusts that through the intervention of the Prosecutor’s Office and the counselor responsible for resolving the situation, the problem can be eradicated at its roots and a solution can be provided to the children’s school workers, who are desperate due to the behavior of the school. direction of the center.
