The Adeje City Council launches the third edition of Tajea, a project aimed at improving the access and maintenance of women in the labor market. This year, the main objective is to facilitate the labor insertion of migrant women – as a priority, not exclusively – residing in the municipality of Adeje in a vulnerable situation. This is an initiative co-financed by the Tenerife Council and the municipal area of Economic Development and Employment.
During the development of the second edition of Tajea, 163 Adejera users were assisted, carrying out 152 personalized itineraries and 437 orientation tutorials. 113 job placements were achieved, figures that significantly exceed the established objectives. In this third edition, a personalized attention service will continue to be provided to users, who can be linked to other municipal projects, training actions and job offers from local companies. Likewise, group sessions will be held in which workshops on digital skills, employment skills and equal opportunities will be taught, as well as vocational training in those sectors of greatest demand in the municipality.
The training will be: shop assistant, basic DIY, caretaker in health and socio-health institutions, first aid, school transport monitoring and school cafeteria monitor. These courses will be taught from March to September 2024. For more information, contact the Costa Adeje Tourism Development Center at 922 75 62 49, at [email protected] or on the website adeje.es.
