VALVERDE (EL HIERRO), Jan. 6 (EUROPA PRESS) –
A cayuco with 102 migrants of sub-Saharan origin on board arrived this Saturday, after 10:00 a.m., at the port of La Restinga, in the municipality of El Pinar (El Hierro), Maritime Rescue sources inform Europa Press.
The vessel was detected by the Civil Guard radar about 9 miles south of La Restinga and entered the port escorted by the Salvamar Adhara.
After health care on the dock by members of the Canary Islands Emergency Service, Primary Care and the Red Cross, it was found that the migrants were in good health and it was not necessary to transfer them to health centers.
